Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive disease that destroys memories and thinking skills. Worldwide, at least 50 million people are living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia, which is more than the population of Columbia. Alzheimer’s disease presents with irreversible cognitive decline, which considers as insidious short-term memory dysfunction and gradually spreads to other cognitive domains, rendering patients ute and non-ambulatory after 10-15 years of progressive course. At present, only two classes of pharmacologic therapy are available for patients with AD, and they focused on targeting Amyloid beta which is the most significant pathogenesis of AD. However, they all failed to show significant effect due to unclear reasons. We encourage society members to think actively about the behaviors people can do in their daily lives which prevent Alzheimer's disease from happening at the first place. The form of participants' products is unlimited, including recipe design, essay writing, video taking... Anything that can clearly present participants' thoughts with supporting reasons will be great.
