Exciting! Another application of personalized medicine is fetal sequencing--a baby's genome can be screened for genetic diseases to allow parents to properly prepare. I encourage you to watch GATTACA, an older movie. The driving concept in the movie is that genetic information determines one's whole lifetime. Although it does not account for the fact that characteristics and health of a person is also dependent on environment, it is still a cool movie!
